You're New... LEt's make it easy...

Welcome

Connexus Community Church of God is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.

At Connexus Community, we are always excited to welcome new guests. We understand how intimidating your first Sunday can be. Therefore, we strive make one's experience stress-free by cultivating an inviting community of faith that is welcoming for all guests. We truly want everyone to feel right at home. We hope you will join us for a service and come see what makes Connexus Community a great place to call home.

Where We Meet

Our church is located at 109 Oakley Road in Moncks Corner, SC.   We are at the corner of 17-A and Oakley Road. You can also get to us from the 52 side by turning on to Oakley Road and we will be at the end of the road on the left hand side. We have a beautiful sign to let you know that you are at the right place.

Parking is located directly adjacent to the church and in front of the ministry complex.  There are first time guests and handicap spaces clearly marked with signage. If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one  of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep these spaces free for our first time guest and people who need additional assistance.

What Is the Attire

Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his  approval--that  comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While  a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remember that Jesus never wore a tie. You will see everything for jeans and polos to suits and ties in a  given service and that is perfectly fine.

What  to Expect When I Arrive

When you walk in, you will find one of our hospitality team members. Feel free to ask them anything or even introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors and Welcome Center areas, and will have an identifiable lanyard. They'll are here to serve you and let you know where everything is located.  If you have kids, they'll guide you the Nursery, Sunday School classes, and Kidz Ministry areas. Our team can also point you to the restrooms, Main Auditorium, Adult Connexion Group classes and Fellowship areas. If you have any questions about the service  or anything else, these trained volunteers are able to provide the helpful answers.

What Is Service Like

Our Connexion Groups and Wednesday Night service runs approximately 60 minutes in length. There are multiple classes and areas of ministries offered for all ages.

A typical Sunday service will last about 90 minutes.   Expect each service to open with our family of faith gathering together to worship. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. After our opening worship with the worship team, there is a time for worship by way of giving. This is followed by the main message, which is normally given by our Senior Pastor.   Typically after the message there is a time of response, closing prayer of benediction.

There are also times  where we  periodically share in communion as a church family.

Childcare available and activities for all age groups.

Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

Am I Expected to Give

Here at Connexus, we believe that giving is an act of worship. However, guests are under no obligation to give, nor will they be questioned about their finances. In fact, we encourage our first time guest to NOT give and to just pull up a chair at the table and be fed. However, if you would like to give, there are multiple ways you can do so. You can either give in-house during our offering time, place your financial gift in one of our offering boxes, give on our website  by clicking the word "Give", give directly on the church app or mail it to us at 109 Oakley Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. While we don't expect it, just know your gift always will help change lives.

Where Do My Kids Go During Service

We are a multi-generational church and have separate services geared towards kids during our 11:00 AM Worship Service. Infants and kids up to 36 months can be supervised in our Nursery. Kids ages Pre-K- Kindergarten can learn about Jesus in our special J.A.M. Kidz classes. For grades 1-5, Connexus Kidz church is the place to be. All programs are free of charge. For more information, please ask one of our First Impression Team members to show you the location and introduce you to the teachers, and volunteers, that will be responsible for your child. We do enforce strict safety measures in our Kidz Ministry areas and thus require a guardian to sign the child in, and the same guardian to sign the child out before receiving or releasing a child.
